Assignment 1
Instructions
Tasks
For the first assignment, we were told to make 20 different layouts or
wireframes for our landing page for our final project. Then, we were told to
choose an appropriate layout out of the 20 ones, and design it to our
liking. Of course, we were told to choose our topic on what we were going to
do for the website and I chose a clothing website.
The class was told that using third party websites such as Miro would be
easier to do but my browser couldn't load in Miro so I had to design it with
Illustrator.

Alot of the inspirations came from designer clothing brands like Louis
Vuitton, Gucci, Zara, etc.

But for the designing process, we needed to make a moodboard for the
website design. So i went on and chose a color scheme from adobe colors and
chose 3 different colors, 3 fonts from google fonts, and the topic of the
website and the purpose of the website.

Then, now that the wireframe was done, I chose one design that I liked best
and that I thought that would fit for my website.
As I was designing it, I had to come up with a logo design for the website.
I needed to be quick so I just made a simple logo that looks very modern and
it kind of resembles Saturn.. I also needed to come up with a name and what
better way to do it than altering your own name. So I went with
Gimik.
I also made some other quick illustrations for the usage of the website
like a shopping cart, search icon, etc.

Then, I with all the things I had, I download some free pictures I found on pinterest and decided to use them for the landing page since it was basically about clothing and I needed clothing pictures.

By making this, I needed to propose this with a PowerPoint slide.

Reflections
Experience
For the first assignment, I think it was a pretty good task to do as it gave us an opportunity on what we want to do for the whole assignment plan.
Observations
I think as I have Illustrator skills down from the previous semesters, I think it was pretty easy to do the first assignment overall. However it took some time getting gall the wireframes down.
Findings
In this assignment, I found that we have to do some research on the plans of the wireframes and the construct of the webpage that we will be building.
